AKINGO – 2017

The aim of this project was to create a piece of furniture for students with a focus on the industrialization process.  We decided to focus our work on different ways for students to learn by being in different positions. This will allow them to be more concentrated on their work.

This furniture is composed of 3 sections:

One with a seat where you can also plug in your electronic devices.

An 1100 mm height table for standing work and a 900 mm one at elbow height. It is also possible to be seated in the middle and work on the different tables.

This furniture is easy to move thanks to the wheels and will allow teachers to adapt their class layout to fit their own needs.

Made out of Oak and a square section frame.

Made in the framework of a special school project proposed by l’Ecole de Design Nantes Atlantique. In collaboration with Marie Bal-Fontaine.
