PERCEPTION – 2017

In the case of this furniture, the purpose is to offer some kind of smells materialisation samples in front of the table top passing through different senses, such as sight, that can let the custumer understand the main theme of the fragrance. For example, pink would be flowerish, green, more naturals like woods.

Then, the sense of touch gets involved thanks to the different textures on the perfume’s features. For examples, soft surface woulb be sweeter than a rough one.

Under each sample, capacitive sensors have been set. They highlight, while being touched, the matching perfume(s).

This is how we decided, in association with Jovoy perfumer’s owner, and an electronician, to create that combo between sight/touch/smell.
